Welcome!

Hello, I’m Emma!

I am a Qualified English Teacher (QTS), having obtained my Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Secondary English at UCL Institute of Education in 2012.

Tutoring: I spend quality, personalised 1:1 time with secondary school-aged students. I support them in achieving the best levels and grades they can in their English assessments and exams and, more than that, raise their confidence, improve their critical thinking skills and empower them to fulfil their full potential.

Creative Workshops: Creativity, joy and authenticity are my aims in life. And they don’t fall in my lap, I need to find places, people and spaces that help me find, remember and enjoy them. So I’ve created such a space. I lovingly offer empowering and fun forums for us, such as my Nurture Verse Poetry Workshops, to ground, get in touch with our creativity and celebrate ourselves.

I’m also lucky enough to be a mum to two fantastic children and I aim to be a wholehearted, sparky and kind role model to them.

With love and solidarity,

Emma x
